If there's one thing that has inspired children for as long as I can remember, it's dinosaurs. The idea that giant reptiles were flying and walking around the Earth at any given point is so compelling to me. It's so far removed from the boring reality we live in, where a T-Rex could never crush us on our way to work. In my opinion, the most interesting thing about dinosaurs is that we have no idea how they became extinct. There are three classic theories: disease, climate disaster, and meteor. If you're me and basically every other former child on Earth, you think that the meteor theory is by far the most compelling. It's climatic, cinematic, and a great way to go.
